    Frequently asked questions

    Will it hurt?

You shouldn't feel pain during the extraction itself — only some pressure. Mild soreness afterwards is normal and easily managed with paracetamol or ibuprofen.

    How long does healing take?

The socket usually heals over within 1–2 weeks; full bone healing takes a few months.

Do I need to replace the tooth?

Not always — but for visible teeth or teeth needed for chewing, we'll talk you through bridge or denture options.
